While it hardly needs my pimping with the overwhelming positive response it’s had, I thought to let you guys know all the same about a new blog started by one of my very best friends and respected costumers:

Cosplay Blog…with a Brain!

It was made in response to an insulting website listing “The Hottest Cosplayers” but using photos of them only in sexy, provocative outfits, never contacting the costumers for their permission, and taking random facts about them from various webpages to inaccurately describe them and the outfits (I was included in this, and it was hardly flattering so much as uncomfortable). It’s not the first time it’s happened, and probably not the last. With the overlooking of fantastic, talented costumers (and often cruel responses) because they may not look like supermodels, it’s important that the cosplay community helps to fight the negativity that comes from outside the good people in it.

I highly encourage you guys to check this blog out, it’ll hold tutorials, interviews, and a healthy, positive look on the cosplay community with chances for everyone to contribute!
