Why I made it: I always admired the Grimrock figurines, and Asuka’s monkey was too cute to pass up!

Construction: The bodysuit underwent multiple revisions, orange boobs were remade 7 times, the boots were my first attempt at a full length handmade shoes, and the ears stuffed and sewn to a headband under the wig. The gloves are my favorite – and hardest part – because it involved wrapping HD foam with vinyl, then attaching it to the already complicated-patterned gloves. The tail is fully bendable on a small backplate inside the bodysuit. The wig was an awesome recommendation from a friend, and the interface clips were a present from Dommomkasshu.

Personal thoughts: Just an overall unnecessarily complicated costume that (surprisingly) falls apart in water. It will have to be remade before I wear it again.
