Why I made this: Whipped this out in a weekend as a surprise gift to my boyfriend when he mentioned an interest in the figurine.

Construction: I did not have the interface clips, so naturally I had to improvise with matching pink ribbons, but overall I’m really happy with how it turned out. The right material was a lucky discount find, but required a little impromptu pattern-making. I ended up covering an existing bra and patterning the bottoms myself. The watermelon was a cute addition.

Personal thoughts: Very cute to wear, and it was under $5 to make, plus the watermelon was delicious after the shoot!
