Why I made this: Merryweather is so innocent with an inner strength, and I wanted to portray that, so I pieced together a lolita similar to what Mary wears in various chapters, using a porcelain doll very similar to hers.

Construction: It was pretty easy to put together, and the small variations really seem to make the difference. The frilly headband was really the only thing I actually had to “make”, everything else was put together to resemble her ensemble.

Personal thoughts: Pretty fun for a closet costume!
