Why I made this: Some east coast friends wanted to do a casual Sailor Moon group like we did at Fanime the previous year, so I jumped on as Michiru, naturally.

Construction: I found a random B&W art piece of Naoko Takeuchi’s that looked simple to piece together: a semi-sheer black top, black skirt, and mismatched stockings (ohhh the 90′s). Because her hair seems more full, long and wavy in the manga than the anime, I took out all the embellishments from my Terra wig to temporarily use for Michiru. It seemed to work well!

Personal thoughts: Fun to wear for a little while, and I got a lot of compliments on my wig that it looked like Michiru’s manga-style hair. I’m tall, but I wish my legs were as long as these girls are drawn to be lol
